kate at tasty seasonsgreetings!  thanks for stopping by!  i’m kate and i’m excited to share tasty, seasonal recipes with you.  some of them are brand new to me and others are favorites that i look forward to making every year when a certain ingredient is in season.

i’ve been making messes creating things in the kitchen since i was in elementary school.  back then, my favorite recipe was powdered sugar, peanut butter, and chocolate syrup stirred onto the floor together (hey, i said i was in elementary school!).  eventually, my “cooking” evolved to include things like “vegetables” and “protein”.  over the years i’ve tried a lot of recipes and made a lot of stuff up and my goal is to bring you just the good stuff.  the really good stuff.  the OMGNOW! stuff.

on the photography side, i was really fortunate when i was little and had this bright neon orange camera that took 110 film (does anyone even know what that is anymore??).  i loved snapping pictures on vacations and then seeing what came back when we got the film developed.  i gradually moved up in the point-and-shoot world over the years until i finally went all in and got a DSLR in 2008.  i’ve been in love with the click of that shutter ever since.
