it’s here! the 2018 tasty seasons print calendar is officially available for preorder! i’m excited for you to see it in person (soon!). and to put it to use!
we know that in-season fruits and vegetables are the most delicious, nutritious, and affordable. sometimes though, it can be hard to remember what’s in-season when.
that’s where the 2018 tasty seasons print calendar comes in handy! it serves as your guide to what fruits and vegetables are in-season each month and what to do with them.
perfect for hanging in your kitchen, the calendar combines beautiful food photography with tips on selecting, storing, and preparing the freshest produce each month. the calendar also provides delicious recipe suggestions that highlight in-season produce, in case you need ideas on what to do with the 47th winter squash you’ve bought this season. (hiiiii late-february!)
the calendar is printed on nice, heavy card stock type paper. it is spiral bound so that it lays flat against the wall and can be hung from the pre-punched hole. the calendar portion has standard holidays preprinted and there is plenty of space for you to add all of your important events – or use it to meal plan!
purchasing a calendar will also support hunger relief in america, as 10% of all profits will be donated to feeding america, the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the us, serving 1 in 7 americans.
and, as a special thank you to those of you who want to purchase multiple calendars to give as holiday gifts (you’re the best!), enter the coupon code “save10” on the cart page to take 10% off any order of 3 or more calendars.
finally, a brief logistics note: orders will begin shipping in early december to ensure arrival in time for holiday gift giving.
thank you to everyone who took the survey earlier this fall and expressed interest in a calendar and thank you thank you to each of you who buys one or sends the link to a friend who may be interested or posts on facebook about the pretty calendar they just bought. gold stars and high fives to each of you!
i’ll be back on tuesday with some slow cooker turkey chili that’s *actually* good (my slow cooker and i… our relationship is complicated), so that you’ll have a yummy game plan for all that leftover turkey headed your way…

SO EXCITED for the calendar!! The photos are gorgeous and I love the produce tips and recipe referrals. Jew question: do you have a sense for whether they’ll arrive during Chanukah, which starts Dec. 12th? The good news is that it legit goes for 8 days, so there’s time. 😉

aww, thank you! and great question! the plan is to have the first batch arrive from the printer on or around 12/1, and then i will package up and mail out all of the orders so far and get them out asap, which would mean that it would arrive in your hands by 12/12. so, yes, you should have it by then!

Amazing! And so exciting. You manage to make winter look every bit as appetizing as summer, and that is no mean feat.

Tastyseasons — I’m so excited about this calendar option. The photos and tips for produce are so perfect, especially the tips for keeping the produce fresh. I have a lot of people who fall under the two following categories:
A) Generation that hangs and actively engages with paper calendars
B) Truly love cooking fresh and gorgeous foods
And I’m buying one for each of them!
Congrats on this – looks fantastic.
For those of you lovers of food who think that fruits and vegetables kind of look like the human form and would love to see that recapitulated in ceramics, pen-and-ink drawings, or large charcoal pieces of art, that’s the theme of my sister’s artwork: http://www.colettabetancourt.com/
